SCREAMS IN YOUR DREAMS
When the phantom alterego invades your silent slumber
It’s deathless existance starts pulling you under
But the flame’s burning cold in this where is it world
Silent screams and dry tears, just add fire to your fears
Universal beings speak loud languages whispers
And do you have brothers, and do you have sisters ?
Please show me a mirror in this fantasy place
I think I need to see my face
Is what I will see be just what it seems ?
And who will hear the screams in your dreams ?
Both worlds holding people that you never will meet
And the corners you turn there are made by who’s feet ?
Material bodies are given the no
But things without substance can easily go
No cameras allowed is the number one code
Taking pictures of people who never grow old
So please show me a mirros ‘cos I just need to see
Is the face that I’m looking at, looking at me ?
The people you meet, yes the ones in your dreams
Are they able to hear your reality screams ?
Maybe they can, and maybe they do
But only if they dream of you
When there’s no going back to the which one is real
Then they name it death, yes the ones who can feel
And the times when we hear the screams that you feel
We don’t understand ‘cos we live in the real
But sometimes we’re here, and sometimes we’re there
And does there become here when we’re breathing the air ?
So I’ll look in the mirror and see what I see ?
Am I looking at you, are you looking at me ?
Could be right, could be wrong a belief by all means
But who does the listening to the screams in your dreams ?
